Eagle River Water Storage
Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility is responsible for providing reliable, high quality water and wastewater services to customers in Anchorage, Chugiak, Eagle River, Peters Creek, Eklutna, and Girdwood.
Beginning in the 1980s, AWWU began to acquire individual water systems in the Eagle River area. These systems were separately built. Each design and installation was not consistent from one system to another but AWWU has created a reliable system for the residents served by this system.
