Cross Connection Control Program (CCCP)
CCCP is sometimes referred to as backflow prevention. It is a drinking water safety requirement which prevents water in private lines from "backflowing" into the public drinking water system.

The Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility has recently migrated to a new digital test report system called SwiftComply Backflow. This new system will allow you (the tester) to enter and upload test results online. Due to this change, we will no longer accept test reports through e-mail, fax or USPS mail. The new online system will streamline workflow and communication around required backflow assembly testing and certification.
If you are a current backflow tester with an email address in our existing system, you should have received an email stating that a SwiftComply Backflow account has been created for you and only requires you to set your password. If you did not receive an email, please continue reading for further instructions.
Before logging into SwiftComply, we suggest adding the email support@swiftcomply.com to your email provider address book. This will prevent future account emails from being marked as spam.
To “set” your password for your account, go to https://anchorageak.c3swift.com/, then click “Forgot your password?”. Enter your email address and click “Send”. You will receive an email allowing you to set your password.
If you have any other users that were not already in the city’s system and need to be added, they can request their own individual access by going to our enrollment page https://www.bftester.com/awwuak. Please note that any backflow assembly tester that would like to enroll, will need a unique email address, an updated tester certification and test kit information to request an account.
For more details on this process check out our Tester Login Tutorial in the SwiftComply Knowledge Base.
