Donations Make A Difference
The Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility Coins Can Count Program provides you with the liberty to help members of our community who may be facing a financial crisis and cannot pay their water and wastewater bill.
This voluntary program provides an opportunity to donate a set monthly dollar amount or "round up" the monthly bill to the next whole dollar by participating as an Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility benevolent customer. The extra monies collected from each customer are deposited into a fund administered by the Anchorage Health Department office. All funds donated will support our community, and will only be used to help qualified families and households pay their water and wastewater bills.
If only half of Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility residential customers participated, we could raise more than $138,000 annually for qualified needy families in our community! Complete the attached form and either submit by email, fax, mail, or visit us online at www.awwu.biz to enroll. It's quick, easy, and it's a great way to help those in need.
Every dollar counts! Together, we can make the Coins Can Count Program a Big Success!
